Fall is here and the leaves are turning.  The frosty mornings are telling me that more quilts are needed in the days ahead.  So let’s make some this fall and winter.
              
Nov 4th at 10:00 am, Linda and Dianne are starting a Christmas project.  First they are doing a wreath, and then a Christmas tree.  Both are paper pieced so they come out perfect.  We will also meet on Nov 18th at 10:00 AM.  For more information, call 374-9580.  We are planning a big pot of soup for lunch both days so RSVP by Nov. 1st.  There will be a $5 fee each day plus kits will be available. 

We will be continuing with our “Start Quilting” classes on Wednesday evenings for beginners and the “Fat Quarter Sampler” on Thursday evening..

After taking a class from Nancy Johnson-Sebro, I am inspired to teach a class on her book, Stars by Magic.  The first class will be Block 1 on page 18 in this book.  After that we will do Lone Star, Block 9.  Come in and sign up.  Class will be $5 plus price of book and take place on Friday afternoon, November 10th at 1:00 PM.  We can work on more of the stars after we learn the diamond-free method.  Please let me know if you are interested so I can order more books.

Following Thanksgiving, we will be closed from November 23rd until November 28th. Also, we will be closed from December 24 through January 8th.  Jim and I will be spending time with children and grandchildren in Florida during the holidays.
